We hope you will be joining us this year! The Inland Valley DHH & Microtia Atresia Family Camp is held on Labor Day weekend in the Inland Valley, California. Below you will find information on camp location, registration details, deadline to register (when the cabins are full, registration will close), camp fees, a sample weekend schedule, and links to the required camp waivers and other important documents. Volunteers and Donations make Family Camp possible!

Our volunteers are very important to the success of camp and we cover the costs of our volunteers ($110 per person) to attend camp. Each year we are inspired by the number of people who are passionate and want to spend their weekend with us! If you are interested in volunteering at the upcoming Family Camp or making a much-needed donation, please see the tabs below.

Camp Location and Lodging Details

Camp Ronald McDonald, in Mountain Center. Nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains of Southern California, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times campsite is a few miles from the scenic town of Idyllwild.

Camp Registration

IMPORTANT: Registration will close when cabins are full.

- Payment is made via PayPal on Eventbrite.

Mail waivers
- You need to submit these waivers:
  - YMCA Assumption of Risk, Release & Waiver
  - CA Hands & Voices Photo & Video Release

- A confirmation email will be sent when the waivers have been received and your registration is finalized.

Camp Fees

Registration includes cabin lodging, all meals (Friday dinner to Sunday lunch), parent workshop, and all family camp activities.

Weekend Rate for Adult and Youth

$100 per person (member rate)
$110 per person (non-member rate)

Please note: Volunteers will be responsible for supervising children during children’s activities only. Parents are expected to be responsible for their children at all other times.

Children’s group note: The children’s group director works hard to ensure that all children are placed in appropriate groups and have a great weekend! Children cannot be moved to another group. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Important Information for Family Camp

Volunteering at Camp

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our camp. Volunteers are very important to the success of our camp. Each year we are inspired by the amount of people who are passionate and are interested in becoming volunteers!

Job Description:

Organize small group games, (equipment and games provided by camp coordinators)
Supervise children during scheduled children's activities
Communicate with and assist other counselors

Volunteers will Receive:

Free cabin lodging and meals
Free camp t-shirt
Certificate of Appreciation

Volunteer Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be a student or DHH professional
Must be proficient in ASL
Experience working with DHH or Special Needs children is a PLUS!

By July 20th, 10 volunteer counselors and 4 volunteer interpreters will be selected. A mandatory meeting will be held for all volunteers the weekend before camp.

Much Needed Donations!

Donations are needed to cover our 24 fabulous volunteers (at $110 per person) and donations are needed to keep the per-person rate as low as possible!
